In the complex world of Iran's oil and petrochemical industry, a veil has once again been lifted from an organized corruption network. This network, known as the 'Conquerors of Kimia Industry Group', is not merely a financial violation; it represents two decades of systematic influence within the structure of this industry.

Corruption and Influence Axes

At the heart of this network are Mohammad Mohammadi, the representative of Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad, and Mohammad Ali Fatehmi, the main manager of this group. Relying on their political power and influence, these two have diverted hundreds of contracts towards personal interests. Investigations show that large sums of money obtained through fictitious contracts and shell companies have been spent in parliamentary and presidential elections; a place where buying the support of representatives and managers has helped solidify this network's influence.

Methods of Corruption

The tools of this operation include heavy bribes, hundreds of coins, promises of managerial positions, and even political pressure and threats to ministers of impeachment. With the help of these pressures, corrupt managers in oil and petrochemical companies, especially in Khuzestan, have been appointed or retained, and these companies have turned into electoral headquarters and unofficial financial resources.

Figures such as Nashan Zadeh, Ansarini Nik, and Karimi are just a small part of this engineered network created by Fatehmi, which plays a role in corruption, invoice fabrication, and the plundering of national resources.

The outcome of this network for the people of Khuzestan has been structural corruption, discrimination, and disorder in the province's key industries.
