Family Corruption Network in Oil Companies: Naseri Karimvand at the Center of the Scandal

A network of family ties and corruption in oil companies led by Mohammad Reza Naseri Karimvand has been identified. This report delves into the details of the violations and suspicious dealings.

In the ambiguous and complex world of oil and gas, rumors and accusations easily turn into truth. According to obtained information, a network of family ties and problematic assignments in the National Iranian Oil Company, particularly in the Marun Oil and Gas Company, has emerged as a breeding ground for corruption and brokerage.

Relatives at the Center of Corruption

Mohammad Reza Naseri Karimvand, head of the security department of the National Iranian Oil Company, is recognized as the main figure of this network. It is said that he has appointed his relatives to managerial positions in oil and petrochemical companies, leading to corruption and favoritism in various projects.

Among these individuals is Qobad Naseri Karimvand, the CEO of Marun Company, who has clearly reached this position with the support of his cousin, Mohammad Reza Naseri Karimvand. Violations related to the company's social responsibility projects in the villages of Ramshir and the activities of his brothers in Masjed Soleyman are under serious scrutiny.

Brokerage and Document Forgery in Projects

Siyavash Sohrabi, the service manager and a board member of Marun Company, has been accused of document forgery in service and social responsibility projects. Additionally, Behzad Naseri Karimvand, the maintenance deputy and a member of the technical committee, is accused of directing “fake” tenders for project assignments.

In the security department, Farid Naseri Karimvand is also recognized as a third-party security force in the oil and gas sector of Masjed Soleyman, benefiting from family connections to access organizational resources. Ebrahim Rezaei Khah, appointed as the head of security for the Karun oil and gas sector by direct order of Mohammad Reza Naseri Karimvand, has security contracts awarded to specific companies.

In engineering and construction management, projects have been assigned at the behest of Mohammad Reza Naseri Karimvand and through the orders of brokers, with some of them being placed under the control of Farakh Naseri Karimvand, his brother. The close connections of Khalil Ahmadi, a broker of oil projects, with the director of security at the National Iranian Oil Company also add to this case.

These issues indicate the existence of a complex and corrupt network within the managerial and executive structures of the country's oil industry, which requires serious investigation and clarification.
