Hidden Corruption in Mahshahr Municipality: A Circle of Embezzling Managers in the Spotlight

The managers of Mahshahr Municipality are trying to strengthen their position, while evidence of corruption and embezzlement in this institution is evident.

In recent days, alarming news has emerged from Mahshahr Municipality indicating widespread corruption and embezzlement within this institution. A circle of managers who seem to be trying to strengthen their influence in the municipality's housing cooperative have become the center of this controversy.

Protests and Pressures in the Municipality

As Mojahid Nazarat, one of the managers of this organization, had previously confessed in an audio file to withdrawing money from contractors' accounts, the pressures on the municipality's employees have intensified. They have been instructed to vote for Reza Kazemi, the deputy mayor, to join the board of the housing cooperative. This is while Kazemi has previously faced a heavy case worth 770 million tomans in the judicial system.

In the meantime, Ghasem Mousavi, the head of the municipality's security, is also under suspicion. Reports indicate that he has received sums as bribes, claiming a familial connection with the head of Mahshahr's intelligence.

This situation highlights the depth of corruption in Mahshahr Municipality and underscores the urgent need for immediate attention to these cases.
