Air Pollution in Khuzestan: Rain Didn't Help Either!

While rainfall has begun in many provinces, Khuzestan remains trapped in pollution. Six cities in this province are in a red alert status.

As Iran faces a new wave of rainfall, the air quality situation in Khuzestan is extremely concerning. Despite recent rains, this province continues to struggle with air pollution, with six of its cities in a red alert status regarding pollutant levels.

Critical Situation in Khuzestan

The public relations manager of the Khuzestan Environmental Protection Agency has announced that pollution levels in cities such as Andimeshk, Dezful, and Shush are in a critical condition. These cities are recognized as "unhealthy for sensitive groups," and the situation has become extremely difficult for residents.

The increase in respiratory problems alongside the outbreak of influenza has put additional pressure on Khuzestan's healthcare system, and the demand for medical centers has significantly risen. It seems that the rains have not been able to put an end to this crisis, and there is still no hope for improvement in the situation.
