Corruption at the Heart of Oil: The Fraud of the Fateh Brothers at Pars Gas Company

Financial and managerial violations at Pars Oil and Gas Company, particularly in connection with Fateh Sanat Holding, have turned into a major scandal.

Available reports and documents indicate the occurrence of financial, contractual, and managerial violations at Pars Oil and Gas Company, especially in connection with Fateh Sanat Holding and its affiliated companies; a matter that, according to informed sources, has led to the involvement of judicial and security institutions.

Summoning of Managers and Commission Members

This case, which centers on operational and marine and air support contracts in the South Pars projects, has entered a new phase in recent weeks with the summoning and detention of some managers and members of related commissions. According to reports from internal sources of the company, news has emerged about the detention of the financial manager and some commission members, as well as the legal manager of Pars Oil and Gas Company.

According to the referenced documents, Kazemi, the financial manager, along with Javad Parishani and Morteza Farahani, members of the company’s commission, and the legal manager, have been summoned by intelligence forces on charges of "facilitating and approving fictitious statements for Fateh Sanat Company." However, as of the publication of this report, the status of the detention or release of these individuals has not been officially announced.

Helicopter Flights and Corruption

In this context, Sepahdar Abbaszadeh has been accused of needing to respond to judicial authorities regarding Fateh Sanat's helicopter flights. It has also been stated that he was introduced to this group through Farakh Alikhani; an individual whom some sources describe as "a source of corruption in the launch of Phase 12 and the Petropars project."

Further details include the mention of Dariush Amounta, the project manager of Fateh Sanat Kimia. According to existing documents, this individual had previously been banned from entering and dismissed due to managerial weaknesses and some disciplinary violations during earlier operational management, through direct correspondence from the then-current production and operations manager. However, he has returned to the group with the support of Deputy Sepahdar Abbaszadeh and is currently working at the Fateh Sanat scrap barge.
