Embezzlement at Fanavaran Petrochemical: How the Head of Services Embezzled Millions?

Widespread embezzlements at Fanavaran Petrochemical have been revealed; the Head of Services has embezzled billions of tomans by abusing his position.

A group of employees at Fanavaran Petrochemical claimed that Touraj Bolvasi, the Head of Services of the company, has engaged in widespread embezzlement by abusing his position and with the support of some senior managers, by sending confidential documents to Fidus.

Financial Corruption in the Shadow of Managers' Silence

The employees remind that considering the CEO's awareness of Bolvasi's widespread corruption, undoubtedly he and other senior managers have received their share of this embezzlement. According to the complainants, Bolvasi has sold about two billion tomans worth of company airline tickets in recent years but has only deposited 800 million tomans into the account of Fanavaran Petrochemical, transferring the rest to his personal account or to close associates.

These amounts have usually been transferred through bank cards in the name of Hamid Esfandiari (his former driver) and Ayoub Bakhshizadeh (owner of the Mahshahr airport store). The protesting employees also claim that Bolvasi pressured a restaurant contractor to purchase equipment for his personal villa, including a cappuccino maker and household appliances from Amiri's store, and charged 25 million tomans worth of invoices for glasses and groceries to the company's service account under the names "binder, pen, and office supplies."

Theft from Financial Resources in Crisis Conditions

Other mentioned cases include the purchase of a one-thousand-square-meter villa in Ramhormoz, a 500-square-meter house in the Atlantic area of Mahshahr, and two SUVs with the proceeds from these violations. This level of corruption and withdrawal from the financial resources of Fanavaran Petrochemical occurs at a time when bonuses and benefits for employees have been cut or reduced, and managers have cited a lack of financial resources as the reason for this.
