In a serious warning, Hassan Sadeghi, the head of the Union of Veteran Workers, expressed deep concern about the country's economic situation and announced that we must be prepared to face triple-digit inflation for some essential items in the year 1405.
Wage Increases are Necessary
Sadeghi emphasized that the third phase of wage alignment should be carried out in such a way that retirees' salaries reach 90 percent of the salaries of active workers, calling for more government attention to the living conditions of workers. He pointed out that some goods have currently reached this level of inflation, and this situation could create a serious challenge between the working community and the government.
Essential goods, which make up a large portion of household expenses, are currently under heavy inflation pressure, and if this issue is not addressed, its consequences could become much more severe.
