Electoral Rents: Petrochemical Fanavaran at the Service of Brother Hossein Rafighdoost

The use of resources from industrial companies and the benefits obtained from contractual rents and the targeted allocation of contracts and tenders for the expenses of candidates in the upcoming parliamentary elections has become a repetitive practice.

Rent in the CO2 Project for Parliamentary Election Expenses

In one of these cases, Hossein Rafighdoost, CEO of Petrochemical Fanavaran and brother of Commander Rafighdoost from the influential forces in Khuzestan, is supporting his brother's candidacy in the upcoming parliamentary elections by assigning the CO2 project to his contractor, Paydar Poulad Company. This issue is a continuation of financial misconduct in this company under the management of Hossein Rafighdoost. It was previously revealed that this corrupt manager receives a special share from most of the company's contracts from the contracting parties.

Corruption in Management Layers

This corruption also flows in the layers of the deputies. Recently, the company's board intended to dismiss Mohammad Behdad, the secretary of the board of Petrochemical Fanavaran, due to collusion in the company's commerce, but with Rafighdoost's resistance, he remained. This individual purchased a multi-billion house in district 1 of Tehran from the corrupted resources, and the disclosure of this widespread corruption became so newsworthy that the CEO of Shasta dismissed the company's commercial manager.

Continuation of Corruption

Although the replacement named Tayebi has also continued the same path of collusions so that the corruption process in the company's commerce, which is under Rafighdoost's support, does not stop.

Rafighdoost's cost-intensive management for Fanavaran continues under conditions where this individual makes deputy appointments in coordination with some politically influential individuals to create a powerful lobby for himself within the company.

The extent of financial misconduct in this company has been repeatedly publicized, but these same political lobbies and the influence of Rafighdoost's brother in military and security institutions have prevented oversight and supervision of his performance. This issue has been acknowledged by some board members in various meetings, who speak of their inability to counter Rafighdoost's gang's corruption in the company.
