Motivation Crisis in the Workplace; 22% of Employees on the Verge of Quitting

Asieh Hatami, CEO of IranTalent, presented the latest data from this job platform at a conference, painting a concerning picture of the country's job market. She announced that IranTalent's studies show that this year, 64% of employment contracts have been concluded on a short-term basis, three months or less. This situation indicates increased uncertainty in the business environment and companies' efforts to reduce risk.

Hatami also pointed to the state of employee salaries, stating: The salaries of 30% of the workforce have either remained unchanged, decreased, or become dependent on the company's revenue compared to last year. This issue has put additional pressure on the workforce and raised more concerns in this area.

Motivation Crisis in Organizations

The CEO of IranTalent identified the decline in motivation as the most significant crisis facing organizations today. She said: According to the data from this collection, 22% of employees leave their workplace solely due to a lack of motivation. A significant portion of the remaining workforce, despite being present in the organization, lacks the necessary motivation for effective activity, which has affected the productivity and performance quality of organizations.

Challenges for HR Managers

Hatami, referring to the concerns of HR managers this spring, said: The three issues of "salaries and benefits," "employee motivation management," and "downsizing" are the most important challenges facing HR managers in the country today. These challenges require special attention and effective solutions to improve the current situation.
