Mohammad Hassan Zada, in an interview with "Naftema," emphasized the dependency of 10 million retirees on their pensions and said: "Delays in payment of claims can seriously disrupt the financial system of retired families."
Criticism of Discrimination in Payments
Zada also criticized the discrimination between social security and national retirees, stating: "Currently, national and military retirees receive their salaries and increases from the public budget on time, and even their salary adjustments are funded by value-added tax; whereas social security retirees face problems and repeated delays in payments."
Delay in June Pension Disbursement
The process of disbursing the June pensions for social security retirees, contrary to previous promises of completing payments by June 21, has been delayed to July 1. These delays have become a recurring pattern observed over the past five years.
