Attacks on Petrochemical Infrastructure; Widespread Blackouts in Iran!

In the continuation of a series of attacks on Iran's vital industrial infrastructure, moments ago the petrochemical power plant in Shiraz was targeted by an airstrike. This attack followed simultaneous assaults on 7 power plants in the Assaluyeh region, including Mobin Petrochemical, Damavand, and Jam, and it appears the aim was to disrupt energy supply for the country's petrochemical industries.

Widespread Disruption in the Petrochemical Industry

With the occurrence of these attacks, local sources report that petrochemical activities in Assaluyeh and Shiraz have been severely impacted, and many units have gone offline. This situation could have profound consequences for the petrochemical industry and the country's energy supply, raising concerns about the security of industrial infrastructure.

Key facilities that have been damaged in these attacks play a very important role in supplying the electricity and energy needed for petrochemical industries, and therefore, damage to them could lead to widespread blackouts and disruptions in production.
