🔸 Despite the direct order from the head of the judiciary to implement the ruling against the defendants in the Mehr Petrochemicals corruption case centered around Arshia Jahampour, new evidence has emerged of him paying enormous bribes to managers of the Persian Gulf Holding. This ruling could compensate part of the over $800 million in rights violated for the country's retirees.
🔸 According to existing documents, Jahampour has continuously paid millions of dollars in bribes to influential individuals in the holding to stop the implementation of this ruling. This corruption network, consisting of Arshia Jahampour, Eisa Mashaie, and his other accomplices, has managed to seize sixty percent of the shares of API with the collusion and assistance of some senior employees of the National Petrochemical Company and the Ministry of Oil.
Confessions and Escapes; Signs of Deep Corruption
🔸 The Italian manager of Edgar Company explicitly confessed in court that all transactions were carried out under the direct orders of Jahampour. This confession clearly reveals his key role in this case.
🔸 Additionally, the escape of Eisa Mashaie, the then representative of the National Petrochemical Company, in another way highlights the extensive dimensions of this corruption. He facilitated the transfer of resources to Jahampour by releasing the legal guarantees of API.
🔸 However, despite this evidence and the ongoing interventions of managers linked to this corruption ring, Jahampour remains safe from punishment and accountability. Now that the case has reached the stage of executing the judicial order, he has once again resorted to bribery to escape the grasp of justice.
