Complaint Against CEO of Ghadir Petrochemical for Alleged Assault

A complaint by an employee of Ghadir Petrochemical against the company's CEO for alleged assault has sparked a wave of reactions.

Complaint Against CEO of Ghadir Petrochemical for Alleged Assault

With the official filing of a complaint by an employee of Ghadir Petrochemical against Kamran Ganji, the company's CEO, the management style and prevailing atmosphere of this organization have once again come under scrutiny. This incident occurs as labor activists have repeatedly warned in recent months about what they describe as "mismanagement" at Ghadir Petrochemical. The formation of this legal case has now elicited widespread reactions among employees and labor observers.

According to the complainant, the incident occurred during a business meeting focused on discussing one of the company's internal issues. He claims that after tensions escalated in the meeting, the CEO of Ghadir Petrochemical resorted to insults and physical assault. The employee stated that due to the severity of his injuries, he was initially taken to Mahshahr hospital for emergency treatment and later continued his treatment at a medical center in Ahvaz.

Legal Case Formation

The complainant has announced that he has officially filed his complaint against Kamran Ganji, the CEO of Ghadir Petrochemical, at the Bandar Imam judiciary, and the case is currently undergoing judicial proceedings. One of the most significant aspects of this case is the differing narratives about the incident. On one hand, the complainant and several labor activists confirm the occurrence of a physical altercation and view this incident as indicative of management issues at Ghadir Petrochemical. On the other hand, the public relations department of Ghadir Petrochemical has issued a statement denying any physical altercation during the meeting and has called the published reports about the assault incorrect.

According to some reports, Ahmad Meidari, the Minister of Cooperatives, Labor, and Social Welfare, has ordered a special investigation into this case. If this news is officially confirmed, the investigation is expected to be pursued with greater sensitivity by the relevant authorities.

Employee Complaints About Some Managers' Performance

Meanwhile, several employees of Ghadir Petrochemical have criticized the performance of some managers in an interview with "Ravi Kar" reporter.

According to them, managers who were expected to inform the CEO about the consequences of illegal decisions and provocative behaviors have instead moved towards concealing the realities; an issue that, according to these employees, has created widespread dissatisfaction within the company. Simultaneously, some sources and labor activists believe that the Shasta and Tapico holdings have not shown an effective response to repeated warnings about the management situation at Ghadir Petrochemical in recent months.

According to these critics, the attempt to reduce this case to a personal dispute has led to the managerial and structural roots of the company's problems receiving less attention; an issue that has now become one of the main points of criticism again with the formation of the legal case.
