Reports of financial and administrative violations in the Basij of the National Iranian Drilling Company reveal new angles of corruption and favoritism within this organization. The name "Amir Tarafiani," the commander of the Basij of the National Drilling Company, has emerged as the central figure in suspicious appointments and contracts in these reports.
Suspicious Appointments and Financial Threats
One of the strange cases highlighted in these reports is the appointment of an individual named "Fereydoun" as the company's sports manager, despite having no prior experience in this field. This section has been less subject to financial oversight due to the way petty cash is spent, leading to financial violations. Interestingly, the company's financial manager, after pursuing the settlement of some petty cash accounts, faced threats of being reported to security agencies and was forced to continue making payments.
Additionally, the case of the fictitious purchase of five thousand food packages worth approximately 16 billion tomans during the war is also mentioned in these reports. According to claims, this amount was deposited into an account belonging to an individual named "Akbari," but no goods were delivered to the company, and only a few packages of essential aid sent to Khuzestan were distributed among the employees.
Fictitious Purchases and Systematic Corruption
Other violations include fictitious purchases of banners, clothing, and the rental of a KMC vehicle belonging to Tarafiani, as well as the purchase of expensive gifts for some managers with cultural budget funds in these reports. There is also a series of fictitious orders in financial documents that were never actually purchased. For example, a fictitious monthly order of 550 million tomans for banners to a specific printing house is among these cases.
This widespread corruption occurs under the shadow of the Basij of the National Drilling Company, while the CEO of the National Drilling Company, despite receiving multiple reports and being aware of this corruption, has taken no action to address it. Protesting managers are also suspiciously being referred to the security headquarters of Abolfazl by the security and Basij organization.
