Hiring Non-Local Workers in Oil Companies
According to reports, even in sections like the kitchens of Marun3 Oil Company, Marun Gas Injection, and subsidiaries of the National Iranian South Oil Company, kitchen officials like Abutaleb Jaridehzadeh, in collaboration with an individual named Baymani, who is a contractor for this company, have recruited all the necessary kitchen staff from other cities, contrary to the 70% local and 30% non-local hiring resolution.
Delay in Hiring Local Workers
Informed sources have stated that despite the approval of the service and kitchen employment budget by Tehran offices more than three months ago, Baymani and Jaridehzadeh have delayed the recruitment process to hire their preferred workers from other cities. This action has been taken due to ethnic and familial ties.
Criticism of the Khuzestan Governor
Local job seekers have criticized the Khuzestan governor, questioning why, as the senior executive official of the province, he has turned a blind eye to the official resolution of hiring at least 70% local workers. This issue has strengthened the suspicion of collusion between Mowlaizadeh, the Khuzestan governor, and Ramin Hatami, the CEO of the National Iranian South Oil Company, to bypass employment laws and grant employment privileges to contractors. The result of these actions has been the widespread hiring of non-local workers.
