Amidst the widespread corruption of Ahmad Hashemi and his billion-dollar dealings with contractors like Mohammad Ali Fatemi, which have led to numerous misconduct cases and significant losses for the refinery, reports indicate that the astronomical salary of this corrupt manager has continued to be paid in recent months.
The CEO of Bandar Abbas Oil Refinery received a salary of 580 million tomans in June 2026. This is while last year, after the revelation of his salary slip, which was 359 million tomans in June 2025, it was decided that the astronomical salary of this corrupt and loss-making manager should be reduced from its astronomical state.
Despite the disclosure of this information, regulatory bodies have not taken any action against this corrupt manager, and his payments continue.

Disparity Between Managers' and Workers' Salaries
While many workers employed at this company work under harsh conditions and do not even receive one-seventh of this amount, this situation indicates severe inequality in salary payments within the company and has caused dissatisfaction among the workers.
Widespread Corruption in Management
In addition to receiving astronomical salaries, "Hashemi" has been involved in widespread corruption at Bandar Abbas Oil Refinery. Previously, by awarding contracting and equipment purchase contracts to Mohammad Ali Fatemi, owner of EnerShimi Company, and unnecessarily changing the second phase of the refinery's development project, he facilitated corruption exceeding one billion euros.
These actions indicate mismanagement and widespread corruption in the company, requiring serious investigation and action by regulatory bodies.
