Behind-the-Scenes Efforts of Reza Masroor to Arrange Free Zone Managers

Reza Masroor, the former secretary of the High Council of Free Zones, despite being dismissed from his position, is still striving to appoint his preferred managers in various free zones across the country. His actions indicate a desire to maintain influence and control over the managerial structure of these zones.

Lobbying for Managerial Appointments

In recent weeks, some local news sources in Anzali have revealed that the latest example of Masroor's lobbying pertains to the appointment of Amin Ofoghi as the CEO of Anzali Free Zone. Ofoghi previously had an unsuccessful record as the CEO of the newly established Mazandaran Free Zone. These appointments indicate Masroor's efforts to retain his influence in the free zones.

Masroor is also opposed to the potential return of Hossein Forouzan to the position of CEO of Maku Free Zone. This comes as some news sources believe that apart from returning to the CEO position in Maku, Forouzan is one of the serious contenders for reclaiming Masroor's former position in the secretariat of the High Council of Free Zones.

This issue shows that Masroor, who himself had a record full of violations during his tenure as CEO of Anzali Free Zone, is still seeking to maintain his desired managerial structure and appoint loyal forces to these positions.
