According to informed sources, the recruitment process in the services and security sectors of Gachsaran Oil and Gas Company during the years 2023 and 2024 has been accompanied by controversies and ambiguities, which have still led to protests from some applicants. These individuals say that in 2023, during the management of Gholamreza Kamali, after follow-ups, it was decided that about 230 daily wage workers with work experience and insurance would be recruited through interviews. However, according to these sources, with the intervention of Gholamreza Tajgardoon, the representative of Gachsaran and Basht in the Parliament, this process was halted.
Program Cancellation and Exam Controversies
After the cancellation of this program, a public recruitment advertisement was published, and about 800 people registered for the exam. These sources claim that among the registrants, there were individuals who lacked insurance experience, and some of them were introduced by Gholamreza Tajgardoon.
Informed sources also say that the recruitment exam, which was supposed to be held in 2024 in Mahshahr city, was canceled due to the dangers of the route from Gachsaran to Mahshahr. According to informed sources, after the cancellation of the exam, 230 people were recruited non-competitively, a significant portion of whom lacked insurance experience and even a university degree.
Financial Issues and Applicants' Protests
According to documents, each applicant deposited 400,000 tomans into the account of the Amir Kabir Professors' Cooperative, the exam organizer, for registration, but after about two years, the status of the exam and the fate of the paid amounts remain unclear, and no clear response has been provided to the candidates. During this period, applicants have gathered several times to pursue their demands, but they have been warned by the governor's office, the head of security named Sheikh Mamo, Gholamreza Tajgardoon's office, and some other officials that if the gatherings continue, they will be arrested and sent to prison for causing disturbance.
