120 Days of Promises, Over 600 Days of Waiting; Daylight Fraud, Ilya Khodro Wants More Money Again

Ilya Khodro has once again worried Musso Grand Khan buyers with unstable commitments and requests for new payments.

120 Days of Promises, Over 600 Days of Waiting; Daylight Fraud, Ilya Khodro Wants More Money Again

A group of "Musso Grand Khan" car buyers have announced that Ilya Automotive Industries, despite receiving full payment for the car, not only failed to fulfill its delivery commitment but is now demanding new amounts from customers. This situation has caused severe dissatisfaction and protest among buyers.

Price Increase and Delivery Delay

One of the registrants says that they purchased this car in November 2024 with a fixed contract and a 120-day delivery deadline. However, the completion payment notice was issued in January 2026 with an increase of about 1.4 billion tomans. According to them, the company cited increased government costs, the removal of preferential currency, and a 12-day war as reasons for the price change, and customers, fearing unilateral contract termination, were forced to pay.

Full Payment, but Car Still in Company Parking

According to buyers' accounts, after completing the payment, the car was supposed to be delivered by February 2026, but this commitment was also not fulfilled. They claim that the company is now demanding about another 2 billion tomans and has conditioned the car delivery on this payment. Published reports also indicate gatherings of customers in front of the Support Organization and a wait of over 600 days for a 120-day commitment. The name Musso Grand Khan has been mentioned more than other products among the protested cars.

Investments Shrunk; Promises Extended

Buyers say they sold their gold and currency at much lower prices than today to register, and the long delay has severely reduced the value of their investments. Ilya Company had previously announced the start of allocation and delivery of fully paid cars and recently stated that the delivery process accelerated in July 2026; a claim that protesters say does not match their experience.

Questioning the Authorities

Buyers ask the Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade and the Support Organization: Is the responsibility for the delivery delay on the seller or the customer who fulfilled all financial commitments months ago? These questions remain unanswered, and buyers are waiting for accountability and serious action from the authorities.
