These requests emphasize the importance of oversight and transparency in large contracts and interactions of petrochemical managers.

Controversial Oxygen Generator Contract in Apadana Petrochemical; Ambiguities and Call for Transparency

Some sources and activists in the petrochemical industry, raising claims about the management of large contracts, have called for a thorough review of the process of concluding and implementing contracts in this field. According to these claims, Mahmoud Fakhraei, CEO of Apadana Petrochemical, has signed a contract worth 70 million euros for the purchase of oxygen generator equipment. These sources claim that after part of the contract process was completed, its continuation was halted in the Persian Gulf Holding, and there are ambiguities regarding how this contract is being advanced and the related managerial decisions.

Ambiguities in Management and Contracts

Additionally, these reports claim that an individual with a history of receiving 30 billion tomans from a contractor in Marjan Petrochemical should not be placed in new managerial positions in the petrochemical industry without necessary reviews. These claims require investigation and response from managers and responsible entities. In another part of these ambiguities, questions have been raised about possible connections between contracting entities and some petrochemical industry managers. Among them, questions have been raised about the alleged connections of Karim Pahlavani, CEO of Pars Petrochemical, with the contracting company Panah Sanat, for which no official response has been published yet.

Need for Transparency and Oversight

Some sources have raised ambiguities about the interactions of the CEO of Apadana Petrochemical with contractors, including holding meetings outside the company environment, and have called for transparency regarding these interactions. Raising these issues once again highlights the necessity of transparency in large petrochemical industry contracts, the method of selecting contractors, and oversight of the performance of managers in this field. It is expected that the Persian Gulf Holding officials and oversight bodies will thoroughly investigate these claims, take necessary legal actions if violations exist, and provide clear explanations if the raised issues are dismissed.
