خرمشهر Residents Protest Seizure of Deeded Lands
A group of خرمشهر residents reported the seizure of about ٧٠ residential plots with single-page deeds in the city and demanded immediate intervention by responsible authorities. According to these individuals, about ١٤,٠٠٠ square meters of land located on داوودی Street, opposite the دولت power station, were divided, street-planned, and legally processed into various plots years ago. They claim that single-page deeds were issued for these lands, and buyers, after obtaining the necessary inquiries, proceeded with construction and residence on these properties.

Seizure of Properties and Owners' Concerns
According to these claims, after about five years, these properties were seized by judicial order, and owners were informed that the lands were endowed.
The protesting citizens say that despite having official ownership documents and necessary permits, they now face the risk of losing their investment and place of residence. They also claim that a significant portion of their life assets and investment went into purchasing these properties, and the continuation of this situation has created numerous livelihood and mental issues for families. According to them, some owners have threatened self-immolation due to the pressures of this case.
Lack of Response and Raised Accusations
The protesting citizens also claimed that when they approached to follow up on the case status, they did not receive a clear response and were merely informed that the case is under review. Meanwhile, they have raised accusations against some judicial and law enforcement officials. These claims have not yet been officially confirmed or denied by the prosecutor's office or other responsible authorities, and it seems necessary for relevant authorities to provide explanations to clarify the dimensions of the issue.
